Wedding Fun

I L.O.V.E this family! This past weekend I had the privilege to see one of my dearest friend's littlest sister get married. It was beautiful like all Daniels weddings! Thanks for the invite Leah. You ARE BEAUTIFUL!
Catching up with college friends, Lindsey and Brooke. It's been too long since we've seen it each other but it was a blast!
Please ignore my shine...it was VERY hot in Little Rock. But I had to this picture with my little one.

Stella getting her dance on at the reception...she was a wild women.

Imitating the big girls during "All the Single Ladies" -- it was too cute.
We also celebrated my 30th with some friends when we were in Little Rock, but those pictures are on my NEW camera. Tom surprised me with an awesome camera, but I just don't know how to work it yet, so those pictures will be on here soon...I hope :)

Picnic at the Park

This past Sunday our church had a picnic at a local park, so of course, we loaded up our blankets, goodies and toys and head out for a little family time at the park. Tom could only stay a little bit because he had a Naturals game, but he still got some daddy/daughter time in.
Stella LOVED playing with the big girls. LOVED it.

Of course you need snacks at a picnic.

And what would a cookout be without, CHEESE PUFFS!

A LOT of cheese puffs. Ha, don't worry the big kids helped her finish those off.
Hope you're having a great week.

Eating, Swimming and Baseball

It's been a super busy weekend and it's still only Saturday. The pictures are out of order, but Stella and I decided to go to the Naturals game to watch Tom in action and she also got to play with Lilly! FINALLY, a picture that shows they DO love each other!
Earlier that day we invited our friends for Little Rock, the Bakers, to go swimming with us at Tom's folks pool. The kiddos had a blast and I'm now a nice shade of pink :(

"Playing" with the ball...aka grabbing it from each other, but Stella and Reed were enjoying it!

Showing some skin.

Stella enjoyed her first subway meal before our pool date. It was super cute! She loved her sandwich. She was such a big girl.
Stella and Reed entertained themselves at Red Robin while we celebrated Reed's daddy's, Josh) b-day. But I'm sure we would've been there even if it wasn't Josh's birthday. BOTH Tom and Josh LOVE Red Robin.
I hope you're having a great weekend too!

Swim Lessons

We're doing what?
Do you know what we're doing here?
Making sure others are on board for the swim lessons idea. :)

Waiting to get in. Notice her hand on Tom's leg.
Listening closely to what Miss Virgina was telling her.

Daddy's in...it's almost time.

All smiles.

Getting used to the water.

Playing follow the leader with the other kiddos.

Splashing and having a great time!
She wasn't too sure at this point and I think Tom might be looking at me --- thinking ok, time for mommy to get in. I wasn't planning on getting in today, BUT...

good thing I was in my suit.

Stella did great for her first day of swim lessons. There were parts she loved and others (like when Miss Virgina took her to demo with) that she wasn't a fan and let EVERYONE know it.
We had a blast though. I know Tom was excited that he got to do her first class with her since he was off work for the holiday.
We have four more classes and then I'm sure Miss Stella will be a fish in the water.

Happy Memorial Day Fun

We have had such a great weekend. Tom doesn't get 3 day weekends often, so we took advantage of this nice weather and enjoyed our little family. Saturday, we headed to the gym so Tom and I could do hot yoga (he did really well) and then took Stella to the pool.
The little kiddy pool is perfect for her.

Jumping to daddy. But our fun didn't end at the pool. After a LONG nap (the pool can wear a girl out!) we headed to the ballpark where they were having family fun day in honor of Memorial day.

We took Stella over the bouncy toys and we weren't sure if she'd like it, but she wanted her shoes off asap and was up the ladder to the slide, BUT...

when she got to the top she wasn't quite sure what she got herself into. ha!

After a couple of minutes of the big kids running around her and trampoling her so they could go down the slide she figured she better take a seat and try this slide out.

Here she goes. I can't believe she is getting old enough to do this stuff on her own. Tear.

Stella was very proud of herself.

Then we walked around the park. I think she is sick of me taking her picture here, but I had to show you her HUGE balloon.

Cooling off in the mister with daddy is so fun!

Stella playing with her friend Lilly at the parks playground. they went up and down up and down up and down the stairs and slide...super cute.

We ended the night with an INCREDIBLE fireworks show. We even got to sit on the baseball field. It really was a great show and Stella liked it. There were a couple times we covered her ears because it was extra loud, but she kept imitating Tom by saying ooooh and ahhhh. Obviously, I played photographer all weekend since I didn't make it in a single shot, but I had fun!

We hope you've all had a nice holiday weekend. Thank you to those of you who serve, have served or plan to serve our country! And thanks to the families who support them while they do a job well done!
